I know.
It's not even August.
I just said goodbye to colleagues from around the world that use innovative approaches in education. It was an amazing week, talking about system thinking, equity, sustainability, teaching the whole child, and more at Camp Snowball.
I said to myself many times this week, "I need to blog about this" but, before I had a chance, I was hit with another profound topic. I'm doing my best to write those topics down and keep the fire burning, but I thought I'd put something here in an effort to engage the online audience.
What would you like me to write about? Are there burning issues you would like to see in education at Ainsworth next year (or anywhere)? I have some vague ideas... Introducing systems thinking to our Peer Mediators; creating a new group of students for social justice or community involvement; teaching students to examine themes such as friendship or respect using system thinking tools; parental support regarding resources for exceptional students or tutoring resources...
Tell me what you think matters for your kids. I'll respond!
